Enrollment
To enroll in Private Music Lessons, students and or parents must fill out and sign a Student Enrollment Form prior to the start of the first lesson. This indicates that the School Policies have been reviewed and that the student/parent agrees to abide by these guidelines.
Enrollment is for the school calendar of 52 weeks per academic year, running from September through June, and includes summer lessons in July and August. Enrollment is complete when the registration form is submitted and the yearly materials fee of $35 per student is paid.
A materials fee of $35 is due annually. This fee covers registration costs, a selection of sheet music, various educational copies throughout the year, and participation in two formal recitals. All registration details can be found in the enrollment form.
Media Consent
By giving your consent to use media with your child(ren) you authorize Reveca Musical Art to capture and use video-audio recordings and images of your child(ren) and/or his or her musical performance or quoted statements in print, electronic, or online media, for education and promotional purposes only, and without any compensation to you or your child(ren). Students will not be personally identified without prior parental permission.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule your lesson, please notify us as soon as possible. To qualify for a makeup lesson, you must inform us at least 24 hours in advance and only in the case of illness or a family emergency. Missed lessons for any other reasons will be forfeited, and payment will still be required.
You must have a piano or full-sized keyboard with 88 keys-weighted keys, foot pedal and a bench at proper height in your home. A piano is strongly recommended as nothing can take the place of its touch and sound. If you have an acoustic upright or grand piano, it should be tuned at least once a year. Maintaining your acoustic piano is important. I can recommend a piano tuner/technician.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policies
Notification Requirements: If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please inform us as promptly as possible. Make-up lessons are available only when notice is given at least 24 hours in advance and for valid reasons such as illness or family emergencies.
Missed Lessons: Lessons missed for reasons such as lack of preparation, school commitments, forgetfulness, or social conflicts will still be charged. Due to scheduling constraints, it is generally difficult to accommodate make-up lessons for these reasons.
Late Arrivals: Arriving late for a lesson will not extend the scheduled end time. The lesson will conclude at the originally scheduled time.
Teacher Cancellations: Your regularly scheduled lesson is guaranteed each week unless it's canceled by the teacher due to severe illness, an unexpected family emergency, or vacation. In these cases, the lesson will be rescheduled.
Student Cancellations: If you need to cancel a lesson and we receive notification from you at least 24 hours in advance, you have two options: reschedule the lesson or skip it. In either case, payment for the lesson is still required. Lessons cannot simply be skipped without payment.
Inclement Weather and Illness Policy
Private Music Lessons will proceed as scheduled. If you're unable to attend due to unsafe travel conditions or illness, we offer remote lessons via video call as an alternative. Not attending, without opting for a video lesson, will result in a forfeited session for which payment is still required. Video call options include FaceTime, WhatsApp, Viber, or Zoom. When inclement weather arises, we can often adjust lesson times to facilitate safer travel.
Summer Study Policy
We offer a continuous summer term with no break. We request that students enroll for a minimum of six lessons during the summer months (July-August). Lesson scheduling is flexible to accommodate both parties. Falling short of the minimum lesson requirement may result in loss of priority scheduling for the fall term, beginning in September.
Media Consent
By enrolling, parents grant Reveca Musical Art Music School permission to capture and use audio-video recordings and images of students for educational and promotional purposes, in print or online media. Students will not be personally identified without additional parental consent.
Termination of Services Policy
Lessons may be terminated for reasons including, but not limited to, an uncooperative attitude, persistent absences, frequent cancellations, or late payments. In the event you need to discontinue lessons, kindly provide as much notice as possible. (30 days notice is required to end music lessons; payments is required through the 30-day period).
